The Small Weekend is a free Micro-Festival situated around locations and venues at the ‘Heart’ of Cardiff East. A buzz of creativity has been picking up pace east of the river and the festival aims to give some exposure to local artists and what his happening in this vibrant community. So join in the fun of our local Carnival of creativity.
We have events like the ‘Big Weekend’ that cater for the masses but ‘The Small Weekend’ is about connecting the dots of our of local musicians, artists, creatives and people in our area. We are a vibrant musical City and this event It’s about people doing small things to make big things happen. We plan to create a carnival atmosphere all weekend we have teamed up with a whole host of friends and families to form a mini festival, a micro-festival experience crammed into Roath for One Weekend. With No set music policy expect an eclectic mix from Cardiff's very own homegrown talent.
Remember, this is YOUR FESTIVAL you are the people of Cardiff we want you all to contribute, lets make this happen whether your an Artist, Activist, Musician, Film-maker, Fire-Dancer, Street Performer, Actor, Circus Act, Comedian, Promoter or have just got a great idea you want to make happen then there is still time to get involved. matt@wearewildlife.com
